From the very beginning, there was a quiet sense that something extraordinary had found us. What began as a chance, unassuming encounter soon unfolded into hours of effortless conversation, shared laughter, and a connection so natural that the rest of the world seemed to fade into the background.
It didn’t take long to realise that, despite the miles between us Benny in Edinburgh and Sonia in Oxford distance was no match for what we had. What could have felt complicated instead became part of the magic. Flights, train journeys, spontaneous weekend visits, and endless late-night calls wove themselves into our story, each reunion sweeter than the last.
With time, our world stretched far beyond maps and miles. We explored new places, built traditions in two cities, and discovered something simple but profound: home isn’t where you are, it’s who you’re with. No matter the distance, we always found our way back to each other.
With every moment we shared, our path became clearer, until we both knew without question that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. In that moment, everything just felt right.
